I believe it is only some of the axles you can upgrade to 1/2" dom on the tubes. I think it was $200 more. None come with axle shafts.

They want $400, I know I can do it myself for less, but I'm finding many JK unit bearings are listed as 07-11 while others are listed as 07-17. Web20 lug 2024 · Jul 19, 2024. #1. Hello all, I'm interested in knowing the simplest method of adapting my JK Rubicon (D44) front hubs to 5 on 5.5 wheel pattern without using spacer/adapters. My thought is to use the J8 military unit bearing assy. Is this a good choice, and does anybody know where I can get these?

Web18 ago 2013 · The ford hp 44 has the same small u joint the stock Dana 30 has where the jk 44 uses a larger u joint. The outer c's are weaker on the jk than the tj and should be gusseted. The ball joint in either 44 are about the same strength wise, so every little to debate there. Unit bearings are more than fine and are much easier to change if need be.
